McDonald's St. Patrick's Day Parade
March 12th at 11:00am
The parade starts at the intersection of Jefferson St. and Elm Ave. and continues to Campbell Ave. ending at Williamson Rd.

Second Wynde will be joining forces with other Celtic performers to provide an entertaining afternoon of great music and dance, beginning immediately after the St. Patrick's Parade ends. 
Corned Beef & Co. will once again sponsor the Celtic Celebration at the corner of Jefferson St. and Campbell Ave. in Downtown Roanoke, Va.

The Celtic Stage is located in the large entertainment tent on the parking lot across Jefferson St. from Corned Beef & Co.

Street Closure Reminder for St. Patrick’s Day Events in Roanoke

The following streets will be closed due to various events occurring Friday, March 11 through Saturday, March 12.
On Friday, March 11, Luck Avenue, between 1st Street SW and 2nd Street SW, will be closed at 12:00 Noon due to the "Martin's St. Pat's Block Party" event. This closure will conclude Sunday, March 13 at 1:00 AM.
On Saturday, March 12, from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM, the following streets will be closed due to the "Shamrock Festival" event:
- Salem Avenue, between Williamson Road and Jefferson Street
- Market Street, between Norfolk Avenue and Campbell Avenue
- Wall Street, between Salem Avenue and Campbell Avenue
- Jefferson Street, between Salem Avenue and Campbell Avenue
On Saturday, March 12, from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM, the following streets will be closed due to the "Shamrock Hill 5K Run" event:
- Shenandoah Avenue westbound, between Williamson Rd and 15th St NW
- Centre Avenue eastbound, between 12th St NW and 15th St NW
- Jefferson Street, between Patton Avenue and Shenandoah Avenue
On Saturday, March 12, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, the following streets will be closed due to the "McDonald's St. Patrick's Day Parade" event.
- Jefferson Street, between Salem Avenue and Williamson Road
- Campbell Avenue, between 1st Street and Williamson Road
- Franklin Road, between 1st Street and Williamson Road
- Elm Avenue, between 1st Street and Williamson Road
- Albemarle Avenue, between 1st Street and Williamson Road
Due to these events, on-street parking may be temporarily restricted. All parking garages and parking lots will remain accessible. However, the following garages will have limited access throughout these events on Saturday, March 12th:
- From 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM, The Gainsboro Garage will only be accessible from Wells Avenue
- From 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM, The Tower Garage will only be accessible from eastbound Salem Avenue towards Jefferson Street
- From 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, The Market Garage will not be accessible
- From 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, The Center in the Square Garage will not be accessible
Valley Metro buses will run on their usual schedules. Trip planning on Valley Metro buses is available via Google Transit at www.valleymetro.com
For emergency access to Carilion Clinic Roanoke Memorial Hospital please use the suggested routes below:
From I-581 South: Take exit 6 toward Elm Avenue Turn right on Elm Avenue Turn left at the first cross street onto Williamson Rd SE, continue on Williamson to the second stop light and turn left onto Jefferson St SE. Continue on Jefferson St SE to Carilion Clinic Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
From 460/Orange Ave Westbound Take the I-581 Downtown Exit, and follow the directions above.
From 220/I-581 North: Take the Wonju St exit toward Colonial Avenue Merge onto Wonju St SW Turn right onto Colonial Avenue Turn right onto Brandon Avenue SW Continue onto McClanahan St SW after the light Turn left onto Jefferson St SW to Carilion Clinic Roanoke Memorial Hospital
